- Dave Bossert at the SCV Beacon says that local law enforcement and the City pressured media outlets in the SCV last week to not publish stories about the Innocence of Muslims film that was shot at a ranch in Saugus. It looks like KHTS & SCV News decided not to publish stories about the shoot, but the Signal did, and so Creekside gets Bossert's condemnation today in an opinion piece at his site. "Our rights to free speech or free press come with responsibilities that must be taken seriously and with great care. Unfortunately, The Signal made a decision to publish a story knowing fully that there could be grave consequences to public safety in the Santa Clarita Valley now or at some point in the future." Bossert also says it's better to "starve the story and let the situation extinguish itself." That's the same thing as saying you don't deserve to know the truth. What do you think, was is it irresponsible of the Signal to publish the story? SCV BEACON
