Craptacular Cell Phone pics

I’m having a lot of fun with my new Nokia camera phone. Sure, the 2 megapixel camera on this phone stinks when compared to my Canon Rebel XT or my new Canon SD 1100 IS, but in a pinch -which is what the amateur photographer often finds himself in- it’ll get the job done.

For instance, today I noticed I had pedaled my Swobo Dixon past the 1,000 mile mark. That’s 1,000 miles of terrorizing the SCV streets without a drop of petrol burned! So I pulled over and took a picture.

Later on, when I was walking my dog, I noticed some jerk had parked his car on a driveway directly on the sidewalk. Really people! Like this town isn’t hostile enough to pedestrians!

Friday night was bowling night, and while this camera sucks at taking low-light pictures, I managed to get one decent one that seemed to catch the atmosphere at the Lyons bowling alley.

Two weeks ago, I snapped a decent photo of myself while at the summit of Towsley Canyon.

Anyway, these camera phones sure are nice to have!
