Between Christmas and today, I came down with a virus. Both the physical, human kind, and the PC version.
Well, technically the PC didn’t get a virus, it just crashed and wouldn’t boot.
As a result, writing the 2008 Year in Review was difficult as I suffered through coughing fits while typing on a laptop. So I don’t have it done before 2008 closes. Sorry about that.
What can be said about 2008? It was a remarkable year on all fronts from the local scene to the national election to the economy to foreign news, giving new meaning to that oft-quoted axiom, “May you live in interesting times.”
If 2008 was “interesting,” I sure hope 2009 is boring in comparison. I’ll take a Little Less Boom ‘n Bust for $200 Alex!
May you and your’s have a happy New Year’s Celebration, and may you have a healthy and prosperous new year!
