Councilman Bob Kellar, fresh off his In God we Trust tour, has announced his engagement to one Ms. Kathy Keysor-Smith, according to KHTS.
And there was much rejoicing in the streets!

It appears that wedding bells will soon be tolling for Council member Bob Kellar, who proposed to longtime girlfriend Kathy Keysor-Smith during the weekend.
Kellar, who has served two terms as the Santa Clarita Mayor, told KHTS that they are planning a small, private wedding on June 13th.
No simulcast on channel 20 in other words, but don’t despair. I’m sure Michele Buttelman is dancing right now, eager to record this historic event in our paper of record.
This will surely be the hottest ticket in town, but one senses it may conflict with the other hot place to be that day- the 38th Annual Boys and Girls Club charity/celebrity auction. Or could they -perhaps- combine the festivities?
