    Jeff, I have seen these buses, they are probably the most utilized in the system, at least twice a day that is. Even though this is a county issue, perhaps the city will take advantage of this opportunity to move buses to were there appears to be a need. The round d round of empty buses in the city might be put to better use.

    They are actually right about the lack of representation. If the voting patterns for the Hart and Castaic school district elections in the Castaic precincts carry over to City elections (about one-third the already low average turnout) no elected at large official could really muster up enough enthusiasm to care. Contrast that to the fast action on the Decoro restriping which impacts the Northbridge/Northpark precincts where A LOT of votes suddenly materialized out of nowhere in 2008.

    Timmy: Top firms! What no Arthur Anderson! Gardening has got to be more fun than digging through financial records. Without being specific to your firm, how is business in general here in the SCV? Seems I am seeing more and more storefronts papered over and I have noticed the Acura King is not on TV or posted local billboards. Are these signs of the time?

    Cash: Arthur Anderson went out of business and Coopers & Lybrand merged with PW before I had a chance to work for them. (I did an internship with KPMG so I am not sure if it counts. On the issue of local business everything is privately held so folks are going to put a brave face on where they are, but businesses related to the liquidity bubble would be substantially less than their peak revenues.

    Hi Tim. To answer your question on how many attended the Thursday night annexation meeting in Castaic, 68 people signed in.
