The Parris clan were/are big supporters of former City Councilman/current Assemblyman Cameron Smyth. In fact, Cameron appointed R. Rex’s brother, Rob Parris as a planning commissioner, but Parris had to give up his seat because he moved to a Sand Canyon home that turned out to be in an unincorporated area.
