    The slogan is direct and to the point: environmentalism is slowly become the totalitarianism that Marxism has become. There is a reason why anarchist thrive within the movement.

    But it’s factual. It’s sad that in your all’s glee to mock him as some sort of clownish, right-wing buffoon, you miss the significance of what is being stated about the modern environmental movement.

    Bill is a clown and a buffoon, and his message gets lost because of it. What is the modern environmental movement? … oh yes, clean water, air and soil for our kids, protection of our resources, parklands and beaches.

    No Fred, it’s not communist to actually protect the environment, air and water quality. It’s forward thinking, it’s about making sure there are resources left for our kids. Are there people among the environmental movement who have communist leanings or are whacko? Absolutely! The same way there are whackos in every movement including Christianity. Also, he is a clownish right-wing buffoon, not sort of one but a full blown one, he has done all of the leg work of proving that. The same way Keith Olbermann is a clownish left-wing buffoon.

    If Mr. Kellar had said all environmental matters should be put on hold I would have to disagree with him. The fact is that much of the environmental stuff is wacko! Those that lack the facts, lack the understanding of just how wacky ! Thanks for speaking out Bob!

    Stop whining Bob. Live with it. The EPA and ESA and CEQA are not going away, and you fail in your attempts to brandish them as the cause of the current economic troubles. Grow up.

    Look at the facts and you will realize the unnecessary burden they create in a lot of cases. Logic does not apply to these agencies. When your sanitation fees go up because of the chloride issue, then perhaps you will begin to research the facts before you condemn people like Bob Kellar.

    Whether you like the message or not, this is in fact our constitution at work. I think it is important in these times of having parts of our constitution brought into question that we as Americans truly regard its value. It’s a great reminder on all fronts that we don’t get to pick and choose who gets to reap the benefits of the rights and liberties bestowed upon us as citizens. The very fact that we can argue the validity of the statement in the photograph, or the fact that it even exists as a public expression, is one of the many things that makes this country the best in the world.

    Well Bill, it might be safe to say we don’t agree on much. But the fact that we are allowed to disagree is an awesome freedom. I kind of view the Constitution like I view family: You might not always like what they have to say or what they do, but dammit, in a pinch you’ll back ‘em up and fight to the death for them.
