Radio New Zealand

Got a QSL "card" the other day:

I place "Card" in quotes because this QSL came by me via email. But it was a nice touch nonetheless.

It makes me feel bad that for all the years I listened to shortwave radio in the early 90s and the early 00s (DXing appears to come once every ten years) I never troubled myself to mail in a reception report to a distant station. Think of all the cool QSL cards I could have had!

Radio New Zealand and Radio Australia (ABC?) come in loud and clear here in Newhall CA. Day or night, they're just about as reliable as WWV, and they have programming that rivals NPR here in the States.
