- The FBI & LASD have spoken with Rene Veluzat, the owner of the Blue Cloud movie ranch where portions of the Muslim-bashing Innocence of Muslims movie was filmed. The Hollywood Reporter says the FBI wants Veluzat's help in identifying the filmmakers. Both agencies have asked Veluzat not to talk to the press. Incidentally, Veluzat is trying to sell his ranch for $15 million. HOLLYWOOD REPORTER
- The Signal also has a story about the film and its ties to the ranch in Saugus. Perry Smith reports that the film was shot on August 18, 2011 and got a quote from the local LASD's Lt. Brenda Cambra who said, "Whenever we're aware of something like that, we try to make a little bit of an increased presence in the area." Has there ever been something like this in the SCV I wonder.
