After all the elegant arguments we've read from Einstein boosters all week, after all the back and forth and looking at the statistics and ethnic makeups of various schools, it's really the unions that upset Einstein parents?
This was posted last week on the Approve the Einstein Charter facebook page.
Where in the world does anyone get off calling SCV Public schools union-controlled and failing? Our schools are practically the envy of the state. People move here due to public schools, and then when their kids have received a solid public education, they leave. Virtually every public school bond that's sent before voters gets approved by 55%, sometimes even north of 60%.
That's how much value people in the SCV put in our traditional public schools.
Bashing teachers and calling SCV schools "failing" may not be on the talking points memo released by Einstein boosters ahead of tonight's critical SUSD meeting, but you can tell it's there, just under the surface if you browse their Facebook page.
