- The 21 year old man arrested for allegedly posting online how he'd be interested in shooting children at two local schools is named Eric Yee. Yee is a graduate of Valencia High and studied Economics at Yale, but left the school in May of this year just before he was supposed to graduate. The Signal has more details on Yee, including quotes from his friends (and, I kid you not, someone says "He kept to himself mostly"), while the Houston Chronicle says his bail, set at $1 million, is extremely high for the charges he's facing SIGNAL, HOUSTON CHRON
- Sgt. Darren Harris at the SCV Sheriff' Station says "Nobody knows if we prevented something from occurring yesterday, today, a year from now," but Harris says handguns and at least one 'high-capacity' type weapon was found in Eric Yee's home. His family apparently moved to the SCV in 1993. DAILY NEWS
