Breaking: Major Fire Behind Magic Mountain [Updated]

A brushfire aided by very high winds is currently burning in the hills behind Magic Mountain. It's presently described as a 3-alarm fire that has already consumed 25 acres. Right now it's burning in a NW and no structures are threatened.

Update: as of 1:25pm, total spread of 55 acres, 25% containment.

Update 2: as of 2:25pm, 80% containment.

    A little too close to the high school for my liking. I went and took my kid out to lunch. When we returned, there was very little smoke. I'm surprised the containment number isn't higher.

    Major fire is truely a great exageration. It was knocked down within 30-45 minutes, thanks to the fine fire department
