Interesting court decision out of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, concerning initiatives and probably applicable to referendums too: http://www.sfgate.com/politics/article/Sta Not really applicable to the current Santa Clarita situation, but it's a good decision for future reference, made in honor of Poor Richard and his almanac.
