Drive By Shooting claims 18 year old, wounds another in Newhall

TWo 18 year old friends, described as Hart high school students, were fired upon from a brown Toyota Camry at a party at a Newhall house early Sunday morning. Bryan Miranda and Jose Valdez were hit and taken to Henry May Hospital where Miranda died of his injuries. Valdez is still in the hospital recovering from his injuries. The pair were at a party with about ten other high school friends. The LA County Homicide bureau is investigating and asking the public for help. Karen Elowitt at the Signal has more.

    I believe Miranda also attended the College of the Canyons and was part of the soccer team.
