At home on my lunch hour, the phone rings. I pick up and say “hello” pleasantly.
“Hello, this is….”
Holy schnikes it’s Cameron Smyth in his deep, musky voice calling. I haven’t heard from him in awhile, what’s he want?
I listen.
Our good Assemblyman is doing robo-calls for the three incumbents, citing their ‘strong record’ of fiscal management, safety, and competence.
The robo-call was paid for by Citizens for Integrity in Government, the same outfit that’s bankrolling a number of mailers (as seen in NAFF’s video today) and an emailed flyer that hit my box yesterday.
Back to my lunch. More determined than ever to elect Boydston, if for no other reason that to up-end the apple cart like we did at Hart last year (ironically, Joe Messina’s company is the one that sent out the Citizens for Integrity in Government email yesterday).
A little revolution now and then is a good thing, wouldn’t you say?
