The LA Times reports that City Councilman Frank Ferry was operated on today to remove a growth near his pancreas:
Frank Ferry, the popular fifth-year principal at Mission Hills Alemany who has been instrumental in helping turn around the Warriors’ school and athletic program, underwent surgery Tuesday to remove a growth near his pancreas and is resting comfortably, according to a school spokesman.
An assistant principal at the school told the LA Times that the surgery went well.
We wish him well and hope he makes a speedy and full recovery.
