  • Newhall School District tops all other elementary districts with an API score of 903, the first time the District has peaked that high. Hart District got a combined API score of 832. SIGNAL
  • US Army gives imprimatur to Newhall Ranch, issuing a permit to Newhall Land and saying the 20,000 home project preserves some 8,500 acres from development SIGNAL
  • What’s it say about Santa Clarita that 8 or 10 of 21 rabid bats have been found here? ABC 7
  • Innocence Project attorneys asked some pretty tough questions of former Santa CLarita Valley Sheriff’s Station investigators in the ongoing hearing over Edward Contrerars, a 40 year old man convicted and in prison for a 1995 Canyon Country murder SIGNAL
  • New Spike TV show called “Deadliest Warrior” is aimed at the young, bloodthirsty male audience, and it’s almost entirely filmed in the SCV PAPER

    After all the Einstein Charter bashing that went on here, people are noticibly quiet about their high test scores, both STAR and API. Just an observation.

    I don’t recall anyone “bashing” Einstein. I do recall some back and forth about SCVi — whose test scores went down this year.
