- Buck McKeon grilled by CNN over his support for a $3 billion program to refurbish old Army tanks the Army says it doesn't need or want. The CNN reporter dug up the fact that McKeon has received $56,000 from the firm doing the refurbs but McKeon says he doesn't know anything about that. CNN

- Interesting article on how 150 parolees have gone missing following prison realignment. Supervisor Antonivich says some 9,750 inmates were transferred to LA County facilities in the year since realignment began SIGNAL
- SCV Sheriff's Station cautions residents about two scams in the area, including one where scammers trick people into forwarding their phones to a third number by pretending to be a Deputy. The scammer then uses the forwarded to get collect calls billed to the victim's account DAILY NEWS
