In Print, Knight's Words Aren't Always His Own

The column on the left is a passage taken from an article posted online in March of 2013 by CBS Sacramento and credited the station and the Associated Press. The column on the right is a passage taken from a column by State Senator Steve Knight (R-21) published by The Santa Clarita Signal on February 14 of this year. Knight, of course, is also running for congress against fellow Republican Tony Strickland (emphasis added to each to show identical text).

Neither Steve Knight, nor his campaign have commented, despite numerous requests. This was the only example of non-attribution of previously published material that I found in Knight's columns for The Signal. I also checked several of Tony Strickland's columns published by newspapers in Ventura County, as well as his website's text, and found no such examples.

    Another example of Mike Devlin printing something interesting but not telling us what to make of it. Stop hurting my brain Mike!

    Interesting is an understatement, to say the least! I am thoroughly appalled and disgusted....

    Maybe mike will do a comparison of Obama's UN speech and how it pretty much echoes Bush's speech to the UN from a few years ago... Or maybe not.
