Deep Wells on the Agenda: On the City Council's agenda tomorrow is a discussion of the proposed deep injection wells that were proposed for the west side of the valley, and which have been met with much disapproval from Stevenson Ranch-area residents. KHTS

Anytime someone becomes engaged in their community, stands up for a cause, claims their seat at the decision making table, is a reason to celebrate democracy, rather than chastise the Johnny-Come-Latelys. Humility is a virtue for all, the newcomers, as well as the experienced soldiers.

Once again, Dave Bossert is haughty, insulting and uber self impressed. So ti's you, Lord Bossert, who should receive our thanks for the SCV Sanitation District (SCVSD) to find a new DWI site. In your immense wisdom, what new site might you select, your grace? In which other parcel on which fault line in our fair kingdom? "Don't worry your pretty little heads, oh lowly ones, Lord Bossert proclaims,town council members like he are homeowners too. Sir Bossert prefers you stay home and leave the protecting and preserving home values to him and his council. He delights in keeping you distracted by your service to our youth, coaching t-ball and camping with the Scouts. Whilst you cast your eyes aside he'll have the doors to the castle swung wide welcoming in digital billboards on I-5 at Magic Mountain for your visual pleasure. If luck will have it, you'll spy him atop a bulldozer, leading a line of garbage laden rigs, crying loudly, "God wills it!" as the Chiquita Canyon Landfill is expanded twice it's size to become one of the largest landfills in the kingdom of the United States. Be forewarned fellow villagers. Lord Bossert is not a benveolent master. Call off the town halls. Ti's best you grab your torches and pitchforks and get ye to Lord Bossert's house, post haste. Look for the wolf in sheep's clothing. Hark, don't delay lest the chickens will be long gone and hence you will find him guarding an empty hen house. For even a dumb cluck knows there are far better places to be than this once fair valley in the reign of Lord Bossert.
