  • Car-to-Car Shooting Under Investigation: Deputies are investigating after a reported car-to-car shooting in Canyon Country yesterday morning, with one of the drivers involved an off-duty LAPD officer. The Signal NBC
  • We Need Action: "We can no longer afford to waste water, waste time and waste any of the $7.5 billion from Proposition 1. The state needs to be much more strategic on how the dollars will be spent." Christensen and Gold call for more, tougher action when it comes to California's water crisis. LA Observed
  • Letter-Writing Campaign Pursues Dam Memorial: A letter-writing campaign has been launched to raise support for a National Park Service memorial of the St. Francis Dam disaster site, including a visitor center and museum. The Signal
  • Study Finds Prescription Problems: "The antipsychotics are specifically designed to alter the way we think, feel and behave, and they do that through manipulating the chemicals that are occurring in the brain. We are messing with things we don’t fully understand.” A federal study found an alarming rate of prescription of antipsychotic meds among poor and foster children. Daily News
