Sand Canyon In ‘n Out
I admit to only having indulged myself here a handful of times. Each time I’ve been satisfied, though not impressed. The patty(ies) were adequate, the fries just crunchy yet flavorful enough, and the lettuce fresh enough to produce a satisfying crisp sound. All in all, I would eat at In ‘n Out Sand Canyon again.
Lowes/Bouquet Canyon In ‘n Out
Look, I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad In ‘n Out experience, but the restaurant at the corner of Bouquet Canyon and Newhall Ranch just isn’t up to my standards when it comes to In ‘n Out burger. On several of my numerous errands to the Lowes store there, my wife and I have picked up sub-standard In ‘n Out burgers in the drive-thur and in-store. One time, my wife’s buns (haha!) were squished and cracked, hardly what we expected of the restaurant Fast Food Nation lauded as an ideal fast food joint. Other times, the lettuce on our burger has been past due. Sometimes the fries have been soggy, and other times, the drinks haven’t tasted quite right.
It’s so bad in fact that my wife and I avoid that In ‘n Out at all costs. I mean no offense to the workers there, but when you’ve grown up expecting quality, it’s hard to abandon that expectation.
Lyons/Old Road/I5 In ‘n Out
All the fast food joints along Interstate 5 are staffed by experienced, quick and friendly workers simply because those establishments get frequented by so many people. The In ‘n Out on the Old Road at Chiquella is no different; these teenagers must be the Special Forces of the In ‘n Out world because for as long as I’ve patronized that establishment, I’ve never once had a bad burger or french fry. The fresh beef always tastes good, the fries always crunch in my mouth, and the lettuce always drips water on my lips.
The service is speedy, even when a tour bus is parked outside. The drive-thru workers employ wireless ordering terminals on busy summer days, and the drinks -milkshakes includes- are simply the best.
