“I can tell you that at our recent block party, almost all of the residents in our northern Saugus neighborhood were strongly in favor of the reform measures” FROM TMS. Of course Saugus is as are part of south central Los Angeles and other areas that believe in receiveing a handout from the masses. Isn’t North Saugus one of those areas were people got in over their head when they purchased more home than they could afford, with little down, and then took out the equity to buy a bunch of new cars, toys, swimming pools and other things they could not afford? Now they think everyone else should pay their way.

Speaking of school employees losing their jobs — what about administrators? Did not see any numbers showing those positions were eliminated.

That may be nationally, but Buck more than adequately represents the sentiments of the majority of voters here. He’ll have that seat as long as he wants it. “Letter writer says America and the SCV are changing and Buck better recognize: “We’re more moderate as a nation, and representatives who ignore our moderate voices and kowtow to fundamentalist, dogmatic right wing positions do so at the peril of their elected posts.””

Don’t be so sure. His district voted for Obama and he only has one more election under the current boundaries. The next district will be less friendly, you can count on that.

mike 2010 will be Buck’s last term. He will retire after that and then a huge dogfight occurs in the primary depending on redistricting.

GangFang Is that you riding in the basket on front of the little boys bike? BTW GF, I am glad I am white, life is often, not always but often, much easier if you are white. Do I believe white is superior, no I don’t. Are you suggesting that based on my previous comment that I think no whites live in Saugus and South Central. If you did, you missed the point, and show signs of being a bigot.
