Pulskamp is “president of the administrators group” for the League of California Cities, and here’s what he’s told the media about Bell: “There really has been a violation of the public trust….The problem we ran into in Bell is that was done in a way that the public was not aware.” LA TIMES, ABC 7
- The scandal has spread to Bell’s City Attorney Edward Lee, who “approved [the] lavish compensation packages for top administrators.” Lee also worked as City Attorney for a number of other cities in the area, a fact which made the City of Downey uncomfortable in retaining him as their City Attorney so they let him go LA TIMES

- The City of Santa Clarita doesn’t like Habitat for Humanity’s plan to build 16 homes on a plot of land on Kansas Street in Newhall. HFH says it’s frustrated and says the city wants a “gold-plated” project. Paul Brotzman says the project may be too dense; “We suspect there would be a significant number of neighborhood complaints,” he told THE SIGNAL

Anyway, the food was really tasty and that lemonade- wow! LADY DUCAYNE
