The “Real” Story-Installment One

For the summertime the editorial board (har!) of SCVTalk decided to add a new feature called the “real” story.  We will put in these installments when the Signal or KHTS reports a very strange and brief story with little details and let our readers fill in the rest.  This is mere speculation and satire and humor is welcome.

The first installment concerns the extremely brief story concerning the departure of James Morgan from his position at the Senior Center after only one year.  What is the “real” story behind the departure?  Here is my crack at it so one gets the ideas:

“Sources say that James Morgan resigned after his failure to quash a notorious senior swinger club that had taken over the Senior Center between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm during weekdays that necessitated the shutdown, for safety reasons, of tapioca pudding distribution at lunchtime.”

    Morgan was known for making controversial decisions, including the one to cancel casino bus trips in favor of taking the seniors out on the I-14 to pick up trash. He also put the kibosh on bingo, insisting the oldsters needed real “exercise” and demanding that they wash his car each day before lunch was served. In addition, Morgan assigned one group of plus sized ladies to take over the landscaping duties at Friendly Valley, where they earned enough to offset the rising cost of stewed prunes.

    Tim, you could not be more wrong. It was not a swingers club, it was an S&M dungeon the guy was running. Remember this article: http://www.the-signal.com/archives/40293/ The Signal, as usual, failed to dig deeper into the real story here. Word is, the guy tried taking things to the next level away from whips and restraints. He brought in an electric cattle prod and THAT is when things got out of hand. The guy is one sick person, that is for sure.
