A McKeon Dynasty?

With our low voter turn out, one wonders if Patricia McKeon could win her run for State Assembly based off the McKeon vote alone. I mean this family is larger than some voter precincts!

Or maybe this is the first step in the creation of a McKeon-SCV Dynasty. There are more McKeons than there are elected offices in the SCV, so get used to saying that name for the next sixty years.

    Come on people, let it go. Do we really have to carry so much negativity around about someone who has a beautiful family? Lets shake off the hate for people here.

    The pattern of naming things and street after our politicians is becoming well established. Given the reproductive prowess, capacity and clear political potential perhaps we should consider a name change for Santa Clarita itself. McKeon. McKeon City. McKeon Town. Keonite. In any case, a name change would make it clear who to vote for without a lot of expense, and perhaps the elected McKeons could just promise a percentage of the largess received from their supporting political lobbyists for the common good,— such as a new mental health wing on Henry Mayo, and a political re-education center in the library.

    If Buck McKeon’s wife, Patricia McKeon, runs for the vacated Cameron Smyth Assembly seat next year, does that mean Patricia lives in Sacramento and Buck lives in Washington DC? Will they still be married? Will Patricia and Sharon Runner be roommates? Will Buck send out glossies for his own wife under his PAC, Citizens for Integrity in Government, or will he send them out for his former district director, Scott Wilk? Oh, that’s right he fell out of favor with the Congressman. No wonder no one votes anymore – those glossy flyers get everybody confused.
