Does the flag guy have Labor Day off too?

Because I’m wondering why the City of Santa Clarita will fly American flags along Lyons Avenue for every other federal holiday, but not Labor Day?

Does that seem right to you?

The vital force of labor added materially to the highest standard of living and the greatest production the world has ever known and has brought us closer to the realization of our traditional ideals of economic and political democracy. It is appropriate, therefore, that the nation pay tribute on Labor Day to the creator of so much of the nation’s strength, freedom, and leadership — the American worker.

Petz says fly the Flag on Labor Day. It is one of the big three summer days. What you do at your own house is always more important than what they do in the White House. Petz will be hosting a croquet match 10 AM at Central Park-you are invited. Look for the Aztek with the American flag-in the back nrar the dog park. Takes about an hour to play.

Labor Day is one of the summer’s big three. We celebrate America whenever possible to influence and educate our posterity. Our labor is the greatest emancipator ! That’s right , Petz said it.

Today, Labor Day celebrates the contributions to our economy of all those who work in this great nation, not just union members. And as far as I can tell, all of those who contribute to this site are working….whether on the left or right.

Ameican Flags should fly on all National Holidays including Labor Day. They should be displayed not only on Lyons Ave but other major streets as well.
