Trucks crash in I-5 Truck tunnel, again

But no deaths this time at least:
At least eight big rigs were involved in a massive collision in the truck bypass tunnel of the Newhall Pass on Tuesday morning, closing lanes and snarling nearby traffic, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The big rigs collided shortly after 3 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway at Highway 14, and when authorities responded to the scene they found "two jackknifed big rigs blocking all lanes and one leaking fuel," said CHP Officer Anthony Martin. The truck apparently spilled hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel, officials said.
It was 5 years ago this month that a crash in the same tunnel sparked a huge structure-threatening fire and killed several people. You'll recall the October 2007 resulted in the closure of all south bound lanes for several hours.

KTLA quotes one big rig driver who says he's very lucky because he was carrying a load of butane in this morning's crash.
