- A woman who was found dead inside a running car on Friday in Canyon Country has been identified. Barbara Poe, 46, was found inside the locked car on Oak Springs road. There will be an autopsy to discover cause of death. SIGNAL

- Retired LAPD cop follows hit and run & DUI suspect all the way from Newhall to Hasley Canyon whereupon the suspect slams his car into a fence and flips his car, which then catches on fire. Three men, including the retired cop, then rescue the man from the burning wreckage. - "We were losing our objectivity," Carl Goldman says in a new editorial addressing the flap over KHTS laying off Mark Archuleta & Carol Rock. Goldman says the layoffs were exploited by Lee Rogers. He also says that the station has covered McKeon 10 times in the last six months, and only one of those stories (the one about Buck McKeon & Mammoth land swap) was removed back in May because "it was taken from a blog that was fed to Mark Archuleta by Lee Rogers."
