I'm really enjoying the panorama feature on my Galaxy S III smartphone camera. Here's a sweeping view of COC's Honor Grove (Click to enlarge):
Just a few years ago, if you wanted to capture a panoramic view with your camera, you had to grab a tripod, find some level ground, pan through your shot to ensure it all leveled out, take all the pictures while swiveling and being careful to overlap your shots, download the separate pictures to your PC, download & install some stitching software, then spend a good 30 minutes stitching together the separate JPEGs and outputting the final (and often disappointing) results.
Now my phone does it all for me!
