- After 20 months of campaigning and $6 billion spent, today is finally election day. 538 Blogger Nate Silver gives President Obama a 91% chance of winning the electoral college today, but Republicans argue the polls are understating the GOP vote. Here in California, a record 18.2 million people are registered to vote. Find your polling place here and review your California voting book here.
