- A bill allowing the governor to meet privately with local, elected governing bodies passed 51-0. It applies to meetings where the topic is public threats. This comes on the heels of a settlement concerning private meetings between the LA County Board of Supervisors and Governor Brown, which the board acknowledged as improper.
